Accredited and experienced electricians
Fire Compliance Services are an NICEIC Approved Contractor where our team of specialist electricians can help to keep your business or property fully compliant and undertake a range of services. This enables us to carryout routine electrical work associated with your fire safety so that a complete solution can be delivered every time without the need for an additional electrician to be onsite. Routine electrical work can be completed quickly and to the highest standard, always maintaining compliance.
We understand that the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 places a “duty of care” on employers and landlords to maintain electrical systems to prevent danger where otherwise it may exist. The only way of ensuring your duties are performed and adequate records are kept is by carrying out a Periodic Electrical Test and Inspection in accordance with BS 7671 (The IEE Wiring Regulations). Fire Compliance Services have a dedicated team of electricians available, with rapid response times providing a reliable and meticulous customer service.
Our team of Electricians provide a comprehensive list of services:
Fixed Wire Testing – The foundation of all electrical testing, after a fixed wire inspection, we will issue you with an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR).
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) – An Electrical Installation Condition Report is required as all electrical installations deteriorate over time. It is recommended that electrical installations should be inspected and tested every 3 to 5 years.
Electrical Installations, Modifications and Rewires – Our team of electricians are fully trained and qualified to carry out routine electrical installations, modifications and rewires.
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) – A full PAT test should include both a visual inspection and a more in-depth check using specialist PAT testing equipment. This test includes earth continuity, lead polarity, and insulation resistance checks. Every appliance should be marked ‘passed’ or ‘failed’ at the end of the PAT test.
Electrical Certificates – Our approved electricians can provide any periodic testing so that an electrical certificate can be produced. This is often the time that you will find out if any electrical circuits or equipment are overloaded plus identifying any potential electric shock risks and fire hazards.
Consumer Unit Upgrades – It is essential that only qualified and registered electricians carry out a consumer unit upgrade. We have a team of certified electricians dedicated to quality standards and raising awareness of the dangers of using unqualified electricians who put lives at risk.
