Smoke Ventilation Systems
Servicing and Upgrades
Smoke Ventilation Systems are commonly installed to keep escape and access routes free from smoke. Some smoke vent systems are operated manually by either a key switch or push button. Automatic opening vents (AOV) can be activated by a smoke detector that is either linked direct to smoke vent control system or is interfaced to a fire alarm system.
We have experience in maintaining a range of smoke vent systems. This service is often completed as part of our regular maintenance visits, reducing the number of planned visits and in turn reducing the overall annual maintenance costs for the site.
We can supply equipment from the leading manufacturers, and we stock parts ranging from smoke vent control panels, fireman override switches, smoke detectors and smoke vent actuators to ensure that the system is always fully operational.
Upgrade to an Open Protocol System
Some buildings are fitted with obsolete closed protocol smoke ventilation equipment, but this can be expensive to upgrade to the latest version. Fire Compliance Services can expertly upgrade old systems using open protocol equipment, offering substantial cost savings.
Car Park Smoke Ventilation Systems
Car parks, loading bays and service yards require ventilation to control the build-up of vehicle exhaust fumes. Acceptable air quality is maintained by a system designed to move air around the area which removes exhaust gases and ensures that there are no stagnant air pockets. A ventilation system will also remove smoke from a car park during and after a fire. You can rely on Fire Compliance Services to provide service and maintenance or car park smoke ventilation systems.
Fire Safety Signage
Our range of signs extends to smoke ventilation systems including smoke vent manual control signs, smoke vent shaft signs, automatic smoke vent signs and much more.
